Water

Over 75 percent of the Earth’s surface is covered by water. Subsequently, water makes up over 75 percent of the human body. Needless to say, water is a major if not the most important component of physical fitness.

H2O serves as a natural detox in addition to its role as a thirst quencher. The oxygen in water allows for our internal organs to breathe properly and water also carries minerals and nutrients needed throughout the body. No disrespect to the many performance enhancement drinks and powders out there, but whenever you use anything made by man you should expect consequences.

Under normal circumstances the average human being should be drinking 96 ounces (eight 12oz glasses) of water a day. Children, petites and larger to obese individuals should drink at minimum half their body weight in water daily. There is NO substitute for water!
